On May 25, 2024 National Enterprise Competition Simulation Competition Finals was successfully concluded at Zhuhai Campus of Jinan University. This year's competition was guided by the China Management Modernization Research Association and the Economics and Management Discipline Group of the Joint Conference of National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers in Higher Education, hosted by the Decision-making Simulation Committee of the China Management Modernization Research Association, and organized by Jinan University.

After the fierce competition of school competition and national semi-final, 22 graduate student teams from Peking University, Zhejiang University, Nanjing University and Jilin University advanced to the national final of enterprise decision-making track, and had a one-day fierce competition in Zhuhai Campus of Jinan University. In the end, our representatives won one first prize, four second prizes and two third prizes, and BIT won the Best Organization Award.

Brief introduction of the competition:

“Enterprise Competition Simulation” is a computer technology simulation of enterprise business environment for students to practice business decision-making. The simulation can train participants to make correct decisions and realize strategic goals in a changing environment with multiple competitors by applying management knowledge and quantitative analysis methods.

In addition, a closed-door meeting of the 2024 Decision Simulation Committee was also held at the same time, aiming to ensure a more reasonable and professional composition of the committee and to provide strong intellectual support for future decision simulation work, and the meeting also conducted in-depth discussions and revisions of the regulations of the Corporate Decision Making Track of the 2024 China Graduate Student Enterprise Management Innovation Competition, with the theme of “Opportunities and Challenges of Decision Making Simulation in the Age of Digitalization”. The conference also discussed and revised the regulations of the Corporate Decision Making Track of China Graduate Student Enterprise Management Innovation Competition 2024, and held a lively discussion on the topic of “Opportunities and Challenges of Decision Making Simulation in the Age of Digitalization”.

“Promote Learning and Improve Quality with Competition”. In order to stimulate the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial consciousness of the students of the School of Business, the Center for New Business Youth Creation of the School of Business of the Beijing Institute of Technology and Business University played a key role in organizing and managing the National Enterprise Competition Simulation Competition. From pre-competition mobilization, resource allocation to schedule arrangement, it ensured the smooth progress of the competition. Meanwhile, a team of professional teachers, Liu Jinzhao and Zhang Jide, provided in-depth training and strategy guidance to the contestants, organized simulation exercises, and helped the contestants familiarize themselves with the competition process and enhance their decision-making ability. With the full cooperation of the Youth Innovation Center and the competition instructors, our college finally achieved excellent results in the fierce competition.
