Faculty members of the Faculty of Business have achieved excellent results in the Young Faculty Competition

        Recently, the results of the 13th Beijing University Young Teachers' Basic Teaching Skills Competition were announced, with Teacher Zhao Chuan from the college securing the second prize and receiving the award for Best Teaching Plan in Group B of the Liberal Arts category. This achievement has injected new momentum into enhancing educational quality within Business School.


        Mr. Zhao Chuan is recognized as one of the most outstanding young educators at our institution. His course "Logistics Information System," presented during the Youth Education Competition, garnered acclaim from both judges and attendees due to his extensive teaching experience and clear explanatory style. Additionally, his teaching plan was awarded Best Teaching Plan, further demonstrating his talent and innovative capabilities in instructional design. Mr. Zhao has consistently dedicated himself to pedagogical reform and innovation; his teaching philosophies are highly regarded by students and colleagues alike. In this competition, he effectively integrated theory with practice through solid teaching skills and distinctive lesson plans, showcasing both the allure and applicability of knowledge while earning high praise from judges and participants.


        The 13th Beijing University Youth Education Competition serves as a platform collaboratively organized by various educational bodies including the Beijing Municipal Education Working Committee, Municipal Education Commission, Municipal Education Trade Union, along with National College Teachers Network Training Center under China's Ministry of Education aimed at enhancing vocational competencies among young faculty members in capital universities. The competition seeks to foster a spirit of dedication and rigorous scholarship among young teachers while building a team of high-quality educators that promotes superior development within higher education across Beijing.
        Business School places significant emphasis on faculty development while being attentive to nurturing growth opportunities for its younger instructors.
