To ensure high-quality employment mobilization for the class of 2024, the Business School convened a mobilization meeting for all 2024 graduates on March 23. Zhang Yue, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President Qiu Yong, counselors Cheng Yu and Shao Jie, and all 2024 graduates attended the meeting, which was chaired by Zhang Yue.
Zhang Yue provided insights into graduates' career choices, recent employment situations, employment processes, and relevant laws and regulations. Based on a preliminary survey of the career plans of all 2024 graduates and statistical data from previous graduates' employment, she analyzed the overall situation of graduate studies, going abroad, and employment. She reported on the nature of employment units and key employers for Business School graduates in recent years, guiding graduates to establish a correct view of career choice and employment, ensuring they fully understand the current employment situation and are well-prepared for employment.
Vice President Qiu Yong addressed potential issues that graduates may encounter at this stage, assuring that all faculty will provide support and guidance throughout the graduation and employment process. He encouraged students to maintain a persistent attitude during their job search and academic pursuit, to highly value the preparation for graduate re-examination and overseas application materials, and to continuously learn and improve in job interviews. He urged students to face challenges with a persevering spirit and to believe in their ability to succeed in future academic and career endeavors.
Counselor Cheng Yu briefly introduced the latest national employment policies for 2024, as well as the operating system for the graduation destination registration and online signing platform. She explained the employment policies related to graduation based on the school's "Employment Practical Handbook," reminded graduates to complete their information entry as soon as possible, and answered common questions about employment contracts and dispatch.
The school places great emphasis on employment work, carefully implements the school's employment work arrangements, continuously improves the employment service system, strengthens mobilization and guidance, adheres to precise services, insists on employment education, and makes every effort to promote the implementation of various employment tasks for graduates, striving to promote high-quality and full employment of graduates.
