School Organizes MBA Off-Campus Practice Mentor Forum

On June 22, 2024, the university successfully held a forum for MBA off-campus practice tutors with the theme of “Digital Transformation and Management Innovation”. Mr. Mao Xinshu, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU), attended the forum. More than 50 guests from all walks of life were invited to participate in the forum, including Wang Ping, director of the Secretariat of National MBA Teaching Instruction Committee, Su Zhaohe, general manager of Beijing Lodestar Technology Development Company, and Liu Chao, vice president of Wujinjiufang Group Company. The meeting was hosted by Fu Shilun, Secretary of Party Committee of Business School. The forum set up keynote speeches, roundtable forums and other communication and sharing sessions. Representatives discussed the digital transformation and management innovation of enterprises, the innovative path of MBA education in the context of digitalization and the new mode of school-enterprise cooperation with their personal practical experience.

Su Zhaohe, General Manager of Beijing Lodestar Technology Development Co., Ltd. delivered a keynote speech “End-to-End Digital Intelligence Supply Chain Optimization and Intelligent Decision Making”, which demonstrated how data and algorithm-driven supply chain intelligent decision making can significantly improve supply chain efficiency through cases. Zhao Hongyu, COO of China Touyi Tourism Co., Ltd. proposed that the value of digital economy-enabled cultural tourism lies in making cultural relics and “China's story” come to life, immersive in-depth experience, cultural tourism scenes that are more attractive to young people, unlocking and protecting cultural relics and civilization, and the ultimate presentation of aesthetics.

Mao Xinshu and He Yurun awarded certificates of honor to 18 excellent off-campus practice tutors, including Tang Yijun, Fang Shouwei, Deng Linwei, He Zhiming, etc., and Zhang Chunping and Fu Shilun awarded letters of appointment to 48 new off-campus practice tutors, including Liu Wei, Ding Yongqiang, Yan Li, Bi Jianjun, Zhao Hongyu and Liu Chao.

In the round-table discussion session, Wang Changbin, Deputy Director of MBA Education Center, interacted with three senior industry experts on the spot to discuss the cultivation of business administration talents in the era of digital economy. Yan Li, HRD and General Assistant of China Renaissance Fund of China Renaissance Holdings, proposed that today's business management talents should be well-equipped in both literature and martial arts from the national policy of developing specialized and specialized small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which refers to social skills and communication ability, while martial arts refers to digital literacy and technology application ability.
