On July 31st, a delegation from the Business School visited the China Meteorological Administration Service Center for exchange and research. Xie Zhihua, former Vice President of Beijing Technology and Business University, Fu Shi Lun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, He Yu Run, Dean, Zhang Yue, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Liu Chang Quan, an organizational member at the department level, Shao Jing Wei, a scientific research assistant, Lu Ying, a career guidance counselor, and representatives of graduate students participated in this event.

Zhou Xin, Deputy Director of the China Meteorological Administration Service Center, Yang Lin, Director of the Party Committee Office, Li Jingwen, Director of the Finance Department, and heads of the Information Office, Accounting Office, and Audit Office attended the research exchange.

Secretary Fu Shi Lun first expressed his gratitude to the Service Center for their warm reception during this exchange visit. He then introduced the history, current status, professional characteristics, talent cultivation, enrollment, and employment of the college. He stated that this event was an important opportunity to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress regarding "education, science and technology, and talent". It was a concrete measure to establish a cooperative relationship between the university and the China Meteorological Administration, and a further discussion on deepening the cooperation between the two sides based on the previous cooperation. He hoped that both parties would maintain a long-term and stable cooperative relationship through the construction of "talent cultivation bases", promote more cooperation mechanisms, and achieve more cooperative outcomes.

Dean He Yu Run supplemented the introduction with the current state of academic construction. She pointed out that the Business School adheres to the 16-word policy of "integrating industry and commerce, dual-wheel drive, refining engineering, and strengthening business". The school actively responds to national policies, focuses on the digital transformation of business disciplines, explores new models of academic construction, and cultivates high-quality talents with interdisciplinary backgrounds to jointly promote high-quality employment and achieve win-win cooperation.

Professor Xie Zhihua proposed several suggestions on the in-depth collaboration of industry-university-research education and talent cultivation projects. He emphasized the need for high regard, elevating the ideological and conceptual levels of the project; strengthening process management to ensure effective implementation of the deep integration of industry, academia, and research; enhancing team building by involving talents with universal and distinctive features in practical projects; and establishing a long-term contact mechanism to ensure the integrity of the intermediate links.

Subsequently, the participants had in-depth discussions on various aspects, including party building guidance, base construction, talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, internships, employment, and achievement transformation.

After the exchange meeting, both parties signed a cooperation agreement on in-depth collaboration of industry-university-research education and talent cultivation and held a plaque unveiling ceremony for the "In-depth Collaboration of Industry-University-Research Education and Talent Cultivation Base".

This exchange activity has promoted the college's external cooperation and made progress in cooperation in talent cultivation policies, internships, and employment practices. The Business School will continue to focus on the development needs of the country's capital, take the in-depth collaboration of industry-university-research education and talent cultivation projects as an opportunity, continuously improve the quality of talent cultivation, and promote the high-quality development of the college's endeavors with party building guidance.
