On July 16th, Chen Chen, Party Committee Secretary and Branch President of Ningbo Bank Beijing Branch, visited the university. Huang Xian Kai, the university's Party Committee Secretary, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Zhang Chun Ping, Director of the Alumni Association Office, and Zhang Xiao Lei, Director of the Domestic Exchange and Cooperation Department, also participated in the meeting, which was chaired by Fu Shi Lun, Party Committee Secretary of the Business School.

Huang Xian Kai began by extending a warm welcome to Chen Chen and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the consistent support Ningbo Bank Beijing Branch has provided in areas such as alumni cooperation, university-enterprise collaboration, and talent cultivation. He emphasized that Beijing Technology and Business University, as a high-level research university under municipal jurisdiction, is committed to leveraging its strengths and serving the needs of Beijing and the nation. At this critical stage of the university's development, he hoped to strengthen university-enterprise cooperation, maximize the advantages of both sides, and establish a strategic partnership to deepen and refine practical collaboration. Key areas of focus would include enhancing the cultivation of digital business talents, promoting high-quality employment for graduates, party building cooperation, smart campus construction, and flat management both online and offline. He aimed to actively transform and implement the results of advantageous industries such as business and food, to innovate collaborative approaches, expand collaborative spaces, explore new models, share new ideas, and co-create a new future.

Chen Chen, Party Committee Secretary and Branch President of Ningbo Bank Beijing Branch, thanked the university for the warm reception and expressed his anticipation for broadening the scope of cooperation with Beijing Technology and Business University. He mentioned that Ningbo Bank, as one of the top 100 global banks, aligns well with several of the university's majors. Nearly a hundred students have already joined the bank in various positions. In terms of talent cultivation, Ningbo Bank is committed to creating a younger corporate team through a "one body, two wings" talent development system. Many outstanding graduates from Beijing Technology and Business University have entered management positions in various branches, a result of joint cultivation by both the university and the bank. He looked forward to more comprehensive and in-depth exploration with the university in modernizing higher education and improving fund management efficiency.

The heads of relevant departments from both sides also engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as the digital transformation of business disciplines at the university, smart campus construction, high-quality internships and employment for students, subject field construction, and further leveraging the advantages of the alumni association.
